This morning Las Vegas (Metro) lost a Hero. He was on his way to a Domestic Disturbance call when a truck turned in front of his cruiser. The officer died and the other driver is in the hospital (don't know the extent of his injuries at this time). They suspect that he was drunk. A news conference will be held soon.
I have been in tears all morning. I can't wait till Jeffery gets home so I can just hug him and be with him.
