Hudson is in the PICU

Our poor little guy is jaundice and has RSV which is an respiratory infection.

We noticed Sat. that he was being pretty lethargic and not eating much. The dr. called and told us that his jaundice levels were at 17.2 and he'll needed to use a Bili Blanket and he would have one delivered to us that night. We got the Bili Blanket and used it for about 1/2 hour when I realized Hudson was having some breathing issues. He would stop breathing for a few seconds then one time his face turned purple and his lips were blue. That is when I knew we needed to cal 911.

I called 911 and the paramedics said he was lethargic and he needed to be brought in to be looked at. So we took an ambulance ride to the hospital and Jeffery followed behind us. Once there he was put on oxygen and they said he was critical and was going to be going to the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit).

They ran several tests on him and discovered he had RSV, which one of the nurses thought was the case. Turns out his jaundice probably wasn't going away because his body was trying to fight the RSV.

We are still at the hospital and will be here till at least Wed. They need to get all the test back and have them be clear and he needs to be off oxygen for 24hrs before we can be released. They have lowered his oxygen level and now he is only getting .3 milliliters per min... so not much help at all. He is improving and his jaundice is almost taken care of.
