Today is Jeffery's last day in Phase 2 of Field Training. He starts Phase 3 on Wed. His new shift is 4pm to 2am. Not as bad as Graves so I won't complain. The 3 day weekends are fantastic.
He had an eventful week. He saw his first dead body... yea I know lovely subject for a family blog. He also had his first standoff. A lady barricaded herself in her house and was shooting at them. That put him on edge but his FTO said that is good because it will make him more alert. Which is always a good thing. Oh and the crazy lady got taken into custody. SWAT got her out.
He also showed me the area he patrols... wish he didn't. Not the best of neighborhoods to say the least. He moves to a different area this next phase.

My Dad - He over came so much in his lifetime. He was a great Dad and was always there when I needed advice. He was the the best Grandpa to Haylee. I wish she would have been able to have her Papa in her life longer. He didn't have the chance to meet Hayden but Hayden will grow up knowing what a great man he was and how much he loved him. I miss you Dad!
Grandma Church
What an inspiration she was to us and her great advice is missed so much. We were blessed to have her in our lives. She was one of the most amazing people we know and we miss hearing her voice. Love you always Grandma!
